Yes! No? Maybe? McDermott’s separation announcement came as Tori posted a family photo during a birthday celebration for daughter Stella.
McDermott, 56, initially announced the split in an Instagram post early Saturday morning that he and Tori, 50, are separating after being married for 18 years. However, he has since deleted that post.
“It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own,” he detailed, along with an image of himself and Spelling, as well as a photograph of the now-former couple with the children.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,” he wrote. “We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness.”
So it is true, according to the now-deleted post. But why take the time to type it, post it, but then delete it? They’re known to break up to make up, so we’ll just have to wait and see if this one sticks.
